I was raised in a Church Planting home. My dad started a church in the Pittsburgh, PA before I was even born. Under his ministry I heard the Gospel message and by God’s grace accepted Christ as my Saviour at the age of eleven. When I was still in high school I was challenged by an evangelist by the name of Clayton King to serve God full time, there in front of 700 high school students I surrendered my life for full time ministry. It was not until my sophomore year of Bible college that I began to pray about being a missionary. I heard Tom Franklin, a missionary to Cuba, speak about being obedient through the story of Gideon. I knew after that night that I needed to be obedient to the Lord and give my life for world missions.

Thankfully Natalie was “randomly” placed in the same Jr. Church ministry while in college. This is where our friendship grew from a dating relationship to an engagement. We were married in the country of Australia in 2007. After seeing the country firsthand we understood the great need for a gospel witness. After much prayer with my wife we decided to become church planters in Australia.

I thank God for allowing me to be born in a Bible-believing home in Perth, Australia. I count it a privilege because it can only be said of 5% of the entire population of Australia. I accepted Christ as my Savior at the age of 10 and soon after became burdened for world missions. I loved hearing missionary testimonies and stories and kept thinking ‘There is no better way to spend your life than in serving God!’. I attended Baptist Bible College in Springfield MO to study Bible and missions. In the first few years I realized how needy and hungry my own country was for the gospel! I am so blessed, how can I love my God back? By loving Australians and sharing the message of salvation with them.

Elijah was born December 23rd, 2008. He is an active boy that loves to swim, play, run, and watch the occasional Veggie Tales. He seems like he will have Jon's height and his sense of humor.

Liam was born on April 14th 2011. We are enjoying seeing him smile and grow on a daily basis.
